To me it just doesnt seem right that a whole cast can get scratched in the zone hunts. These are suppose to be a small percentage of the best competition coonhounds in the country! is it just the way it goes ? or are the judges before this not doing there jobs. or just plain bad luck !??!? ALSO I WOULD JUST LIKE TO ADD A BIG CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL THAT MADE IT THROUGH!!!!

One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch, it happens.

Have you hunted in many RQE's? There's a whole lot of dogs qualified for the zones that aren't worth a plug nickel... Put a few of them on the same cast together at the zones and voila!

That's what I was thinking it only takes one cast win to go to the zones. You don't start getting into entire cast of decent dogs until you get to finals and even then sometimes they don't show up at their best.
