Help please
I have a 4 yr old walker that was straight as arrow I put her up for the summer she has got fat as a horse and now she comes in and acts like she's goin to tree then take it on like the coon tap and take it on the run the track a little farther and and come back this has happen to the last two time I took her I know it a coon she's running coon but don't know why she is doing this or how to correct it ne help would be appreciate
well you had her put up for the summer and she's way out of shape . first thing I would do is cut her feed back and get her in some kinda decent running shape . and then when you've got her in shape and her wind back do a couple turn looses at night and see how she preforms . laying up , being out of shape and the temps are kinda rough on a dog just keep her busy and get her out there . if she did it well before the layoff she'll be back .
