Why does bird season start in The middle of the day ?

Why in the world does dove season start at 12pm? Somebody explain what sense that makes ?

when you say something it depends where in the country your standing as to how dumb you are.

Have no idea here in Missouri we can hunt all day. Best hunting in the morning and evenings never hunt em mid day. Turkeys though we can only hunt them till 1:00 pm.
