Question Trying to find info

I am new to the whole registered dogs. I recently bought me a 5 month old red bone. We are big fans of them. But we were never concerned with the pedigree. We have got one now and I have no idea how to tell if the pedigree is good or mediocre. This is how the sire's name appears on the application for permanent registration GRCH GRNITECH 'PR' MC MILLAN'S STONEWALL REBEL and the dam is listed like this CH 'PR' SHELTONS RED BELLE PEPPER. If somebody could help point me in the right direction so I can find out more info on my girl which we named her 'PR' BELLA'S MIDNIGHT RIDE aka Bella for short.

Its really good breeding, had a couple of hounds out of o`l Rebel. Jerry the fellow that pup came from is a good guy. Good luck with your pup!!!!

good stuff

I think it is some good stuff. I had a female out of old Stonewall rebel that was hard tree dog and a good reproducer of coondogs. He is a brother to GRNITECH GRCH PR T-TOP Rabble Rouser.

Im the guy that sold you the pup. the top side of your pups. is the t top bloodline and if u look on the reproducers list in bloodlines magazine you will see rebel is number 9. You will also see rebels full brother on the historical list and several of rebels nephews are on the current list as well. as for tue bottom side bell goes back to coffman bloodline top and bottom as well as ragged ridge blood. the dam is also a great grand pup of the stormin norman dog that jesse copeland owned. norman is the sire of tn bob which reproduce. grandnite big g farms pepper who is on the reprducers list as well as tn sweet ben. ben has done alot of winning as of late. so the bottom side is packed with nice hounds as well. if u would like you can call me and i can tell u more about bell her momma and her sire and her grand dam i owned them all. feel free to contact me and keep in touch over the progress of your pup.

I just seen your post. Thank you for explaining that. I am just new to the whole bloodlines part. She is an amazing dog. Only "issue" with her is she does not bellow while on a scent or once it is treed. We thought maybe running her with dogs that are trained would maybe show her what she is supposed to do. Problem is we can't seem to find people who have them to run with. But she has an amazing nose on her and is very smart. We have had to reinforce her kennel multiple times cause she keeps getting out. All in all I have no complaints with her.
