Gr Nt's at Autumn Oaks

All right Mr Fredericks, where is the "list"? Fri was the deadline for postmarks, which means that you should have gotten all of the entries yesterday. Enguiring minds want to know. It is only 2 weeks away and I am getting excited. Who will be crowned the National Grand Nite Champion of Autumn Oaks?

#1, no S on Frederick, King Richard.

#2 We probably do have all the entries but there is no guarantee at this point. We generally wait until a week after the postmark deadline to make sure. Seems USPS is getting slower and slower. Don't know what we will do when they stop delivering on Saturdays!

We are working on it and trying to get the list compiled as quick as possible. Don't know exactly what day it will be put up but it will be soon. Most of the entries have been put in the system, we are just working on the stragglers!

I'm excited too. Can't wait for the 2013 AO!

I'm also one of those enquiring minds.

#2. So, Friday? Tomorrow will be a week.

Oh my goodness, 669 entries....and 19 Gr Nt Ch Redbones. That must be some kind of record. Maybe the top 16 will all be Redbones. This should be one of the top AO's of all time. I bet that there will be a long line in front of the viewing screen on Sat morning. The change in format for the Gr Nt's has proved to be a good one. I wonder whose idea that was. Maybe they should get a bonus. Thanks for the timely response. I knew that things would pick up after they hired you.

It was changed 3 years ago, nothing new for this year.

Used to be the National Grand Nite Champion was determined by whichever Grand Nite had the highest cast winning score. Now all Grands hunt Friday, then the top 16 hunt early round on Saturday, Final Four go out late on Saturday to determine the National Grand Nite Champion.

It is definitely a record on the overall hunt entries. It is the lowest hunt entries in the last 5 years for sure and is half the total entries of 2009 AO.

You are right sir. Best Redbone GRNTCH entries in 5 years and maybe ever.
