If you live here in Jackson County then check out this link below. It's of dogs off our Sid dog. There are probably 50-55 on there now, and I have been slacking and have probably 10 or more that need to be added to it.

He's got TONS of coon dog, and bear dogs out of him. We can give you a list of references a mile long on dogs out of him that are bear dogs and coon dogs also.

He will hunt Sid when it gets cooler weather, but not until. He's old and the heat is rough on him. But, we have several dogs off of him we would be glad to go hunting sometime and then you can see what he throws.

Hunt with pups of the stud(s) you're interested in, it's great hunting with the stud itself if you can but unless you're thinking about buying the stud I'd want to see what he's throwing and how they hunt because that's what you'll have when the smoke clears.

There's a guy by the name of Tim Osborne on here I believe he's also from North Carolina. His name on here is nitehunter04 or something like that. I don't know him personally but he seems like a stand up guy and seems he tells it like it is with not a lot of nonsense. He owns the Bean dog if I recollect correctly. If he can't help you he might be able to point you in the right direction.

Christy/Quincy (Sid's owner) sound like theyre not afraid to put their money where their mouth is also and offer to give references and take you hunting with Sid's pups. Can't ask for much more than that.

if u are just looking for early starting bear dogs then breed to a stud that is throwing early starting bear dogs and that other people have bred to for bear dogs and gotten bear dogs look for a stud that consistently has bear pups turning out don't worry about the all grand if u are just focusing and wanting bear stock breed for performance not pedigree check around local u talk to bear hunters in your area you want a dog that is throwing pups that perform in the same terrain u will be hunting in those other bear hunters will know who throws what
