I hunted with him in the pup derby in 2007 I think. He is a get by his self and get a coon treed. Good mouth and a nice looking dog.He placed 4th that year. Call Doug Pearson and ask him about the dog he will tell you the truth about him. He throws that kinda of a dog also. The Jr. dog is out of him and he won King of hunt at Black and Tan days two years ago. He is kinda quite on the ground and gets by his self every time out.

I hunted with his son, GrNt Ramblin Jr, a few times. Nice dog! Always alone with a coon. But he is almost dead silent on the ground. He was as tough to beat as any hound I've drawn in years.
