bashing

Every one is always bashing on other breeds my quistion is does it really mayter ive seen good dogs out of all breeds as long as they do thrre job and tree coon does it mater ehat kind of it is

Definately i waould hunt a poodle if it would tree coons I'm not color blind

Uncle di on duck dynstie got a poodle to retrive birds lol

actually poodles are retrievers . lol

I understand when its fun every hunted with hunts walkers and i have plotts but soke people are dead serious abought it

Guys of other breeds love heckling one another ... Especially if they are friends. I've got English buddies ... We all give each other a bunch of crap ... But also encourage each other

Bashing

I think its a lot more bashing on here than bashing breeds. I was new too coon hunting and have never had any help from anyone training dogs! I put a ad up on my older dog slick treeing. of course he's a walker so everybody said shoot him and buy a B&T or Blue tick..Blah blah blah.. It made me not like this sight so much.... When I got back on UKC sight a older man had PM me about my problem and told me how he had a method for solving my problem. As a last effort I tried this mans method and low and behold he has split from 2 different dogs twice in a month and had the meat. His accuracy has increased big time. I was about to listen to everybody on here and get rid of my dog! I feel like with all the hating going on in the world coon hunters should stick together we are the minority in the hunting world. I enjoy a good laugh too but when beginners are getting in this sport and get frustrated they come to this place for Support...Not Sarcasm. I guess im Babbling but all im saying is I had 25 Responses to my question for help on my post for everyone to see and about 90% where negative. And one kind Gentleman had to Private message me a useful method on fixing my dog!

I've always said be very careful about what advice you take from this site. I enjoy the site and it can be helpful at times but you have to wade through a lot of bull in between. You'd be surprised at the dogs a lot of people hunt after listening to how much of an expert they are on most coon hunting subjects. Not only on here but coon hunters in general. I'm glad you got your dog straightened out.

Glad he is doing good and i agree every one is always saying we need to get more people in the sport and no one wants to do any thing but bash on your dpg while lookikng for help

I think you should hunt what ever hound you like and be glad with it. but for me it's ENGLISH ALL THE WAY. JMOP.
