flies
Had terrible problems with flies. Hung a gallon bag 1\2 full of water with 6 pennies in it , put it in the center of kennel at about 4 ft high. I have no more fly problem.
Bronco fly spray for horses.Get it at Tsc.Im gonna try the water and jug trick.
What do the pennies do?

I read that diomatacious earth would not only keep your hounds worm free, but what passes through in their crap will be picked up by the flies and kill them too. This is the first summer I have put D.E. in my dogs food every single day and though there are still a few flies around, it is a very small fraction of the swarms I used to have around my dogs in the summer. The more I learn about D.E. the more I am sold on it!

I use the water in the gallon bag trick also. Works good. Got the idea from a fast food take out window.
Do u leave the bag open or closed

flies
my boy got a fly trap i think at tsc we hung it on the rafters behind the horse stalls in barn it really works good but it does have a smell to it
Pennies
Don't really know what purpose they serve other then you have just a few cents tied up in fly repellent . Lol
Just wad the top of the bag together and tie a piece of twine or string around it . There are no holes in it .
Thanks mike for the pic and info. Ill have to try it. Ive been spending about 30 dollars a month on fly repellent it works just costly.
Last summer I was at a friends house and as we were sitting on the porch I noticed the bag of water with pennies. I'm not exactly sure how bad his fly problem was before but in my opinion the bag of pennies were not working very well.
