what about this hunt idea!

Top 16 black and tans picked by voters on this forum to hunt it off annually in a fair hunt 4 non hunting honest judges hunting in 4 good spots with plenty of coon .Let's get these owners together in person so they can learn to get along and better promote the breed.

Ukc black and tan forum users nominate any UKC reg.black and tan to go on a list on this forum dog owner has to agree to hunt before dog is added to the list .16 dogs with most votes hunt it off on video to be posted on this forum.

You'd be promoting a product to people that already have it , lol ... remember how much the Bluetick world hunt was made fun of ?

What would be really ballsy ... is for a guy that like to competition hunt to get himself into one of Nailor or MOjo hunts and place in the top.

Or even put on an exhibition early in the week before the bigger hunts against the top dogs of other breeds ... it's not as safe a bet that a B&T would win as having only B&T's ... but it would do more to promote the breed.

UKC rules except you don't have to have plus points to win and everybody strikes in for 25 on or before the third bark.3 hr first round 2 hr final cast UKC would have to allow the non sanctioned non profit hunt of course.

We are working on something Mike. It's not exactly what your describing but if we can get it to go it will create a lot of interest I beleive.

What about if each breed association has a hunt off at its annual hunt. That would be b&t days, walker days. Bboa hunt, so and so on. And the winners of each would hunt at the end of the year for a little breed bragging rights.
