Htx hunt

What do you do when there is a hunt scheduled but you can not get in touch with the fella running the hunt for the last two days. Do you go ahead and drive the three hours to the hunt or just stay home?

Sorry to hear this. If the hunt is posted they will have it. I would go ahead and go, unless severe weather or something along those lines has come up.

You come across as either a smart a-- or a dumb a-- hope I don't offend you. If you do not want to have a HTX title or a Nite Champion title on your dog that is your business. If I want to hunt my dogs in hunts that's my business. How many people drive hours and hours to go to Autumn Oaks, Walker Days, or Orangeburge just to walk around cause they do not have a dog capable of hunting in the hunt. That's their business. Mind your own.

I have hunted curs for a few years and have won a pile of hunts. I am getting into hounds. There is a ton of good info on here for people, but sometimes get aggravated when someone asks a serious question and someone comes out of the peanut gallery with an answer like that. I have heard if a hunt is posted they have to have it, but the Master of Hounds can't be reached on the phone for two days and there are no other numbers to call.
