Here we go again.. Wagner/Nightrider dog disscussion

Well lets hear everyone's opinions. I have heard a few things about this line, but not much. I know that Alan White breeds this line of dogs, but who else.

I think allan is probably the only one pushing this line I just picked up a pup that I bred from his dogs the only thing I can say they will make the kind of hound I want I have been friends with allan since the 70s I run coon lion and bobcat they will catch you game thks tim from Montana note your spelling wagner

The only dog I own that is not for sale was born and bred on Alan's farm. The ones I've got from Alan have been self starters. Good solid, well balanced strike, track and tree dogs.

I hunted wagner alot as a kid through the 70s and 80s always liked them and still do and Allen is one of the best people you could ever deal with. what I see is most will have a real strong nose and verry accurite. not sure on the comp side but I would say they can hold their own self starters easy to keep straight. tend to be a larger breed not so much in height but braud and strong across the shoulders well balanced hound mouth tends to be average but well defined win on track and very destinked treeing and most seem to be the same. I have a female that will be bred back to Allens some point in time.
