Not trying to start anything, but for us that was not able to attend NRD can anyone provide any info on any changes that were made or pending changes???????????

yeah

the nrbdays will continue its tradition of bein held on july 4th wknd. i know its a family event or so some say but i know my kids n family wont wanna attend it every year. they like to c some fireworks that wknd. i wouldve loved to see the date changed to a cooler time of yr but the people that dont hunt thier hounds have no idea how hard it is on them when the temps are in the 90s. wich we got lucky this yr on the weather n had a great time.

I walked all around.. between campers and coon dogs... i was yelling "Larry.. Joe.." and i had no replies... lol.. Where were you guys?

I was hoping for a change as well and I "don't hunt" (or as far as most claim anyways) and just an fyi, it's hard on the show dogs too lol maybe in a few years we can get it changed

I predicted you'd have to stick with it and see it thru . Just the way meetings go , got tired of'em long ago . From what I heard there was a lot said about it being for the kids which I disagree with . Family event yes but think the kids would just have to miss a couple days of school . Least that's how we did it when I was in school .
Facts are dog's die hunting this time of year and we've been lucky people haven't and the weather is shifting to be worst in the future .

Thats funny, I have not done alot of hunting as of late. What hunting I am doin has just been working on young dogs. Take Joe once in awhile just to show the young ones how it is suppose to be done.

Been super busy this year with work, and been spending some weekend time with the family,

Had the boat and family out this weekend, family likes to watch the fire works from the boat over the water.

Had close contact with a few folks getting update reports on what was happening in holmesville.

I will get fired back up someday, havent been in a comp hunt since the world hunt last september. A lot of things happen along the way and just took a lot of the pleasure out of it for me. So I spend my hunting time just me and a pup or two. I get them where they need to be and let someone else put the wins on them.

Thats what I have always done up until a few years ago and have kinda went back that direction.
