How's your hunting

Been working out of town but started a job by my house. Been trying to hit the woods as much as possible. Problem is coons just isn't moving. Took a cur hunting this morning to tree some squirrels and ended up treeing two coons. They just don't appear to be moving at night. Is a yo e having this issue.

Same here.Cant remember it being this bad in a while. Even when our berries were in you couldn't hardly buy a coon at night.

It’s something that happens every summer. They get hot and thirsty, they move around, eat, drink in the day time. They don’t move much at night because they moved all day. The sows have to round up kittens all day so they end up moving all day.
