Most of these dogs are a TRUE semi silent, as coon hunters call it...LOL
They will bark if its really really hot , like almost looking at the hog. Some want bark until they have the hog stopped. Some want bark then just hear the hog squealing. As my daddy has gotten older he likes the dogs to open a little. Says he can keep up a little better. I'm not sure what has advanced hog hunting more, tracking systems, Garmins or 4 wheelers. I Never ever seen anyone carry a 4 wheeler where my pops will.....and I'm sure some of these hogs run a little further because of that, but a hound with some drive and stamina will eventually come bayed.....

He likes the hounds, for there nose, hunt, and heart. Most all his dogs are cur mixes thrown in with a few straight hounds and hound mixes. Lot of Bird dog XXX Bull Dog // Outlaw Cur Stuff

In this pic there are 3 different 4 wheelers Each 4 wheeler has a Hound and a Mixed up thighter mouth dog. Sometimes if the hound gets struck , watch the garmin close you can tell how well there moving the track ,Send backup if neccesarry LOL.

The High Tan in the front box is Rueben daddy ,, bought him from Fla. Guy said he opened too much for him. He opens about right for POPS Second Box little English female (DUAL GR. Big River Dan 012 Grand American Winner XXX with My Nt . CH. Adkins Nite Thunder female) Back Box the hound that 's Barking is Super Bee (GR. NT CH Timber Cutter XXX Dual Grand Cedar Creek Bee)

All I've ever been with was walk type silent mixed up 7 ways to Sunday cur dogs lol. That craps for the birds. If im gonna walk right up on the hog and kick it up. I might as well shoot it. I like to hear a little opening.
