Any Interest?

Would there be any interest in setting a time period at National Days for a Rules Seminar of sorts? Might be a good opportunity to discuss whatever questions you have.

Expert

I think it is a great idea. Specialy if we have Allen the expertwill be there. Maybe we should have a jar and put a $2.00 per question in it. first one to stump Allen get's the cash.

lol. You just got beat by a lame duck that night. Let it go Marshall. Let it go. Besides weren't you trashing with one of Miller's high powered outfits that night? Thanks for the ride though.

All joking aside, I remember it well and felt like an idiot. Dang leg still gets me every now and then.

I've got one too. What is the difference between "a little white" and "too much white"? Mr Young, maybe you could come up with some good bench show questions. I have heard bench show people argue about their rules also. But I guess that they have a lot of "rules" seminars. They just call them "judging" seminars. Maybe UKC should have as many "judging" seminars for the night hunters. Maybe UKC should license night hunt judges the same way that they license MOH's. When is it going to be? I am sure if someone of Mr Gingrich's stature taught it then there would be a lot of handlers show up. Just don't make it too early.

One of the FIRST things I learned in the show ring was that I didn't want to be a judge .
Most of us just don't know how to lose , actually it's pretty easy . Not something you want to get to good at but usually takes a lot of work to avoid .
If there was ONLY ONE judge in the country for all shows you might get the same opinion every time but I doubt it . Just because you beat a dog once don't mean you'll beat them the next time .

OK , I'll wear my new hearing aids .

Here's just an example for you guys:

"Butterball, good question and thanks for asking. Course hair on a hound could be compared to that of an old Duroc sow. The kind that you can clean your irons with. Slick hair is just the opposite. Like the hair on top of your head. One serves multiple purposes while the other looks goofy, not as attractive and requires a lot of sunscreen during the summer months".

"DYoung... you got your ears turned on"?

"King Richard....... a little white on the chest of a Redbone is acceptable. Too much white exposes the Walker genes and will get your single registration application rejected in a NYM"!

Next handler please.
