Coon hunting isn't a sport?
Coon hunting isn't a sport?
You like weights, I lift 50 lbs dog food sacks.
You run a mile, I hike 10 at night.
You work with a team, I work with a 90 lbs animal that I have to comprehend, and recognize their every move.
You have 4 quarters and 2 halves, to show your competitors what you've got, we've got 2 hours with very few time outs or stopping.
When you fall down, you fall on a nice floor or cushion. We fall down a 10 ft embankment, get back up, and keep walking.
Your sport is one season, ours is all year long, even in the bitter cold or blazing heat.

i thought the dog was suppose to feed you
I honestly never thought of it as a sport....even competition hunting....
Or any of my hunting/fishing/trapping/shooting etc....its not a sport to me...its my lifestyle...
Yes I do it "for fun". But its also just what I do...some people watch movies..or play video games...or go out to town or the bar etc...I hunt..or fish..or trap...or shoot..
