I have got a male out of rage that is 16 months old has a 2nd place win and a htx title he is a real nice level headed dog can't say enough about him Donnie says he has been gettin some good reports on his pup I would like to talk to some guys that are huntin rage pups

What's the batman dogs numers as far as number of pups.and titled pups

I got a 9 month old female off batman and im pleased with the way she is coming along. Took her to a comp hunt and she did exactly what she was suppoesed to do. We still came short of the CW but we was never to behind to catch up.

I would like to see Rage I've got a nice little female thats 1.5 years that I hope if she keeps progressing like she is will make a great coondog. If so I'll be looking for a stud in a couple years. She's second gen Ragin Black Hank topside. and goes back a few on dams side to Hobo Hoss.

I was looking at Batman too.

She's 50lbs and slim got a big gravely mouth and a decent nose on her right now. You can't beat her drive to hunt and heart shes quick too. I have been singling her out since march.

RAGE

WE have a 3 coming 4 yr old out of rage and elk river what a trip Here is the good and the bad with him ; great looks , he lookslike a black and tan should good build with long ears, huge huge mouth will take a cold track and heat it up and put a coon on the end of it, he will smoke a track!!! and is deadly accurate huge locate and a hard stay put tree dog. has a ton of drive he is gonna kick dirt when leaving but will not straightline he hunts not just blows through the country.He is kennel quite very well mannered. Not a mean bone on him anywhere all around a dang nice hound.you will get him off a tree he will not check in will pack but prefers to be alone. now the bad; everyonce in a great while he will tree a grinner just to tick me off lol and the worst thing about him is he could not tree a lay up to save his life !! ifthe coon are not moving a lay up dog will put it on him but he will go till he finds a coon He has been in a limited amount of hunts and is a champ on the bench needs 1 or 2 wins to be grand and needs a cast win to be a night champ and has money won in pkc. HE is not for sale just passing on what I have seen rage produce. mike harward

Maybe we should rename this post to Rage lol.

I don't have very many possum not an issue. What's his accuracy % on the tough winter nights? And does he usually finish those cold tracks? I want nose and tracking ability IMO most dogs have enough tree in them. No need for tree power of they can't finish a track.

I'll be watching him for sure to see how he keeps reproducing. Through up a picture of you have it. Thanks

If you are talking of rage himself I have never hunted with him. I was looking for a batman pup a few years back and am friends with Donnie and we have known each other for years and he knows what I expect out of a hound. Don told me about rage being a littermate to batman and that he had a 4mnth old pup out of him. Long story short he was a little inconsistent when he was young but has since turned into a nice hound in anyones book. Bear is what we call him and he has an outstanding nose when he opens he will put an end to it very seldom slick trees. He is accurate to a fault almost. You have to wait till the third locate to put him on paper because if he does not change to a chop after the 3rd bark he will move on till he is on the right tree but when he hits it right load the rifle. He will move a track the way some move a deer, and when he locks down no amount of pressure will pull him.If it wasn't for the waiting till the third locate to tree him he would be a big time winner but if you draw a metoo dog when he throws that first huge locate he is gonna get covered like mashed potatoes get covered with gravy
