I have a dual champion male that i would like to cross with some good females. Buford has a big mouth that a child could call in the woods and a bawl mouth on tree. He hunts hard and has never gave me a slick tree He is also a fast moving hound who knows what to do with a cold track. I have owned Buford for three years now and he has sired three litters of pups out of my gin female and from what I have seen these pups are fast learners they pick up fast and start at a early age. Buford and gin have truly impressed me over the past few years and I would like to see some pups out of Buford and some good females. If anyone would be interested my name is Mark brackett and my number is 828 443-8684. Don't be afraid of the bottom of the pedigree, the Calloway hounds go directly back to O.O. Grant breeding and Driftwood Blue Cotton was a top hound in every way. It is good to see them mixed in this nice hound.

Pedigree

The rest of the pedigree kind of speaks for itself. Some people are hung up on titles but there is some good old blood behind those "PR" bred hounds. Driftwood Cotton was a first rate companion and a coondog wherever you unsnapped his lead. Best of luck to you and your hound.

i'd have to agree with driller. lots of the calloway and driftwood stock in my dogs and I have no complaints. a friend of mine says those dogs are boring. strike, track, tree...strike, track, tree...repeat.
