The Governor’s wife is at it again! As an animal rights activist, Mrs. McCrory is inviting Senators to the Governor’s Mansion to persuade them to vote for House Bill #930(http://www.ncleg.net/gascripts/Bill...amp;BillID=h930).

She used this tactic to persuade many Representatives to vote for the puppy mill bill. We need your help to be sure her tactic fails in the NC Senate. We must stop HB#930 in the Senate.

Protect dog owners and dog breeders by fighting this bad dog bill. Two quick calls will help!

First, call your own Senator at the NC General Assembly. Ask him/her to vote against House Bill #930 the puppy mill bill. If you know the name of your state Senator, call (919) 733-4111 and ask for his/her office. If you are not sure, locate your own Senator by clicking here (http://www.ncleg.net/representation...presentsMe.aspx). Go to the Senate map and click on your district. Or, locate your Senator by county(http://www.ncleg.net/gascripts/memb...?Chamber=Senate).

Speak to your Senator or his/her Legislative Assistant. Be polite, brief, and to the point. Give your name and address. Ask the Senator to OPPOSE House Bill #930 the puppy mill bill.

Second, call Mr. Skylar Adams of the President Pro Tem’s Office (919) 301-1732. Tell Skylar to ask Senator Phil Berger, President Pro Tem of the Senate, to PROTECT US from House Bill #930 the puppy mill bill. Senator Berger has the power to stop this bad dog bill from being heard. Politely ask him to do so.

This week is hectic at the NC General Assembly. A great gun bill has passed, and is almost law, though there are a few more steps. We are working on several important wildlife bills. Last night we learned of Mrs. McCrory’s invitations to Senators. Some are invited to go to the Mansion tomorrow. This is happening this week! Please help us STOP HB#930. Thanks!
