same truck that I have I gave 8500 for mine but I got it from my wife uncle. Darn good truck just be ready to rebuilt the front end. Get you some good mud tires cause it will get tuck on wet grass.

Diesels ain't worth the money at all.

I just sold my 2003 F-350 4x4 6.0 Diesel 6 speed manual Reg cab with 205k miles for $8500. It was worth more but needed a clutch soon and the bed wasn't so pretty anymore. Bought a 2005 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 gas 5 speed manual 150k miles for under $4500 and its perfectly straight.

IMO diesels don't last any longer than gas in most situations. But cost thousands more to buy, own and maintain. I don't care who made it, or what engine is in it. They will all run till 250,000-300,000 miles if maintained right, gas or diesel. But are wore out just the same. Plus I've never seen one thing a diesel would pull that the same truck with a gas engine wouldn't.

diesl trucks use to be the way to go but now gas is cheaper than diesil fuel slowpoke those 6.0 are the worst motor ford ever put out no power always having trouble with them my buddy was a ford mechanic for 38 yrs he waited till they came out with the new 6.7 to buy a new truck because they still had the 6.0 said he wouldn't own the 6.0 just bought a 012 king ranch last fall in ky when we came back from indana from a horse sell man it's nice

Your right, the 6.0L PowerStroke was junk in a lot of ways. It made decent power though. IMO all diesels are junk nowadays. Poor, poor, horrible mpg's out of all the new ones. Gas prices aren't what's hurting diesels. It's the way higher cost of ownership, plus the crappy fuel mileage. The government has done the same thing to diesels as they did to the muscle cars, loaded'em up with emission equipment. My old Dodge with the 5.9 Cummings got about 23 mpg, the neighbors down the road just bought a brand new diesel Dodge and it gets 11 mpg. How is burning twice the fuel to go to the same place better for the environment? Crazy world we live in.

yes it is a crazy world going to get worse im afarid my buddys new f 250 king ranch gets 11.9 to 12.5 depending on how big of a load hes pulling and qulity of fuel he gets 16 to 19 pulling nothing i think thats why catipiller quit making truck engines because of all the emmisons control they put on the big trucks
