the akc kennels are awesome i love them..
I made my own over 20 years ago out of 2" pipe and horse panels and they are still good... do not use tubeing they will rust thru in a couple years
I did the same as Patches.I used 2'' pipe welded on an old mobile home frame.I used 2x4 panels on the sides.5 1/4 deck boards spaced 1 1/ 4 for the floor and metal for the top. Also used the 2x4 panels as partetions mounted with hose clamps so I can move them to make an additional kennel......BEST DOG PEN I HAVE EVER USED......The only thing I would change if given the chance is I would possibly use hog panels for the floor instead of wood, but at the time I did not have access to hog panels...The deck boards work very well,I spray them out daily with the garden hose...

I bought the kennel panels from tractor supply comp some were branded akc others were from a different comp made for tsc. all rusted out on the bottom rails. 5x10s were around $300. After bitc&%# and complaining I got know where with them. Contact or look up danny glista on here he had a thread on this a few months ago and found a place in michigan that made panels that were coated to last forever. Priced at around $700
problem I have no matter the panel material is males and their urine seem to rust it after several years. any solutions for that???

Use 4" blocks 3 block high ( 24" ) then horse panel on top. Or a 4" poured wall n panel on top. Seal the concrete or block good n keep it bleached n sealed frequently. Slope ur concrete at least a 1/2" per foot so waste will run rite off. If u can get ur hands on some corn cribs u can take them apart n use those panels they are even thicker than horse panels.

You can also take and old tire and wheel and put a 4 inch pressure treated post in the hub and make them a piss pole in the middle of there kennel or the blocks are have your panels powder coated and then you won't have to worry about it actually I have one male and this is the only kennel that bad like your talking and when he goes there won't be anymore
my pens are on dirt, cant have concrete. might have to try the blocks next time I have to replace panels. thanks.

Just my opinion
Priefert the best on the market, may and do cost more but we had some at the handlers houses that were over 10 years old and looked almost new.
