shooting with a .22 mag rifle

Anyone use a .22 mag to hunt with. Well I am cus its all ammo I have left LOL. To me yes its lil louder but I get alot of accuracy and u can make him crawl down faster.

You can't do it on this side of the line either. You might need to check Alabama laws before using a 22mag.

Why would you want him to "crawl down faster"???


Why not ding him in the head so he comes out dead??? Dogs don't run a risk of getting beat up...coon will be worth more without holes in its body..

Don't understand why you'd wanna bring one out alive???

I do shoot to kill belive me. But I have friends that like to bring them down with a fight. Its y they don't give the gun cus I shoot for eyes LOL. Al laws saids I can use. 22 mag cus its still a rim rifle..

22 mag works great. Roles em right out.

if i hit em with a 22 mag hollow point it will make a 4 inch hole in the coon. Guns quite a bit heavier but more knockout power

I have hit them between the eyes and the shoot no bigger then the bullet. I also use hollow points . Yes knock out power.
