Looking for a stud dog

Looking to breed some things into my gyps. Sire must: Open on the leash or at least within 15 yds of being released. Stay open, preferably every time his foot hits the ground. Prefer chop mouth with a triple warble locate or yodel and chop on the tree. Must be loud. Must tree with anything and cover any amount of distance to cover a dog. Must be able to burn a track. Go hunting and stay gone. Be a Gr NT.....If I think of anything more I will add it later. Got people calling and looking for these types of dogs. Lucas

So it sounds to me like you want a babbling, me-tooer and no offense but either nobody is going to admit or not going to stud it cuz I think this breed is trying to get away from walker style hounds.

My mistake if I misunderstood but if I am correct, my next question is, why would you want to breed to that? Is your female to independent and silent?

I hope you find what your looking for.

stud

Must it be a red dog? I have drawn about 20 of these type dogs this year already but none were red. I think you might have a hard time findin' a red dog that fits, If you want an off colored one i can give you their numbers. Ha Ha

Some other "tricks" I mean traits you need ---

A couple other things you will need from talking with the PRO’s over the years, they must be “female in heat” broke. Have heard where there are those that will catch urine from a female in heat and dump it in dog boxes just to mess up the cast. Also get them to hold their own at the tree, but be sure that it looks like an accident, stick in the throat seems to be best??

Lucas

I know where 1 or 2 are just as you described & they are red.. if you would like I can pm you names & numbers.

1 thing they aren't is loud. But as a whole they fit pretty well.

Hmmm

What about one of those that barks all the time, barks at home, in the box, on the tailgate, while tied at the club. The kind that can sleep 5 or 10 minutes then bark for 2 hours, never really shut up until they die. Now that kind will get you a bunch of first strikes. HAHAHA. I see and hear them on the trade row at big hunts.

Well...

Well the gig is up. For those of you that know me personally, Bill Lash, Kelly, and some that called and thought I had banged my head severely, I was just messing. But I will let you know whats on my mind as far as stud dogs. Gr Nt Goshen Moe, Gr Nt ___ Jim, Gr Nt Jon Henry, Gr Nt _____Jake....Gr Nt ___ Bubba, Gr Nt___Moose, Gr Nt The coon Buster, and as you can see Gr Nt is a prerequisite. Just a personal thing really. This is not an inclusive list but should keep me busy for the little bit of breeding I do with these gyps of mine. Hope to add some more to the list. Most of the stud dog owners in the past have let me breed for free and all have treated me fairly. Bill Lash is an absolute gentlemen and Ramon Thompson will give you a fair deal. Just sent Mandolin out to Goshen Moe in IN and can say that Stu Allen has been a pleasure to work with, trying to improve the redbone breed. I would like to hunt with some of the up and coming studs out there and would really consider any stud that fulfills my requirements. This list is not a slander of anyone's particular dog but are dogs that I know the linage and would like to hunt with or have hunted with myself. I hope everyone is working towards producing a world champion redbone. Lucas

Stud

GRNTCH Bubba doesn't open until he smells it. Not the babbling type. Is a good honest strike dog though.
