food and water setups?
I have seen a ton of kennel pictures, but any one have a unique food and water setup or does everyone just have two bowls setting out?

I know I would like to figure out something for food & water also. I use small rubber livestock type pans. Great in winter. They freeze solid, I turn them over & stomp on them. Frozen water pops right out like a big icecube. The bad part is the young dogs especially like to play with them & are constantly spilling them, especially this time of year.

you can run pvc water lines to each pen with a little nosel they touch with their nose and the water comes out and they drink I don't know how they know how it works but ive seen it in person the guy that had them said it only takes them about 2 hours to figure it out
would love to see a picture of that. Does it work in the winter?

Water/Food
WE use 5 Gallon Buckets for water & Have Drip Faucetts in some of the kennels. Screw onto faucet & turn faucett on. Our 2 month old pups have already figured them out. Metal pans for food. Tractor supply sells the Drip Faucetts.

most of my dogs are tied around a creek and i use the automatic feeders. if u don't have the luxury of a creek but have a gully u can build small spreader dam across it every 30 feet or so and catch the run off from rains. i have done this before with field stone and dirt from digging out behind the dam. add a piece of plastic and wal lah you have a mini 20 gallon pond. also stops erosion. its alot of work but well worth it.

I am in the south and don't worry about freezing. I have PVC ran off a main line to each pen with those lick it nipples on then. I also have metal feeders in each pen. At the present time I have all three pens open and dogs run in a four acre fenced pen. I do keep a bucket of water in one pen just for a backup but they seem to rather use the lick it's.
it doesn't freeze here its pretty awesome the first ive ever seen of it ill ttry and post some pictures
