Opinions on Breeding
How about we start another topic on breeding. For you experienced breeders.
Breeders for Competition hunting. What determines if you should or should not breed a particular female. I know none or very few are perfect so what faults or holes should a person allow? How do you decide what faults are genetic or man made? and will they show up in the pups? What bad traits can be fixed with the sire?
I know it would be a lot easier if a person had hunted several of the ancestors, but for those who haven't like myself could use suggestions.
Thanks in advance any and all help is appreciated!!

I THINK YOU NEED TO TRY TO BREED TO STRENGHTHEN TRAITS IN BOTH THE MALE AND FEMALE, IF YOU HAVE A DOG THAT HAS NO WEAKER POINTS THEN YOU GOT THE PERFECT HOUND.
