2013 50th Anniversary BBCHA BLUE BOOK

2013 is the 50th anniversay of the BBCHA BLUE BOOK. This is such a great accomplishment for our organization. We want this to be a extra special edition of our historical BLUE BOOK, and are looking forward for all that show or hunt bluetick hounds to be a part of this book.

The 2013 BLUE BOOK will be an ALL COLOR BOOK. We are also looking for that speical front cover, if you have something you would like to submit for consideration for the front cover, please contact our Editors, Wesley Martin or Jim Ballard.

Please don't procrastinate this year, get busy, get those color pictures gathered up or start taking them so you can get your ad put together. For help on putting your ad together contact Lynn Jendersee our graphic artist at lynnjend@yahoo.com she will help you and is excellent at what she does!

Robert thanks for posting this. It would be nice to see this 50th Anniversary edition achieve and or surpass the earlier editions that have set the standard for breed annuals in the coon hound world. No organization of any breed has done what BBCHA has done over the years. With the advancements available to do things in print that were impossible before, greater participation and cheaper pricing for the ads, this all color book should prove to be as good if not better than those collector older editions. Thanks again for your post.

I have started working up ideas for my ad in the 2013 BBCHA Blue Book. This will be my first color ad in a Blue Book and I thank BBCHA for making that possible, especially at this price. This is a great oppurtunity for the Officers and the Editors to weigh in with some hints as to what they have planned for this special edition yearbook. One thing you and your hunting buddys can do is go in together on a full page ad. Heck for the price of a bag of dog food you and two more can have that ad. We have the ability to do something really nice, so now I ask you to join in and be a part of this-you will not regret it. If you care to commit with me right here. I will have a full page ad. How many of you will join me?

Thanks Ed and Chris. John the ad dead line is not until this fall, so you got plenty of time to get pictures and save your pennies and dimes along the way to make this happen so you will be a part of this book. This is the one the 50th Anniverasry Edition. If you have to get an envelope and stuff it with a loose dollar every time you think about it and the next thing you know, you will have come up with the cost of your special ad. The idea of getting a couple of buddies to throw in with you not only helps, it makes them a part of the book as well. Sure would be nice to hear from the regulars on here about this-just like Ed did. Who is willing to tree their dog too?

Once you come up with the money putting an ad in your Blue Book is easier than posting a reply on here. The phrase "How much difference can one person make" is thrown around alot. This is where it can make all the difference in the world. Look back through older editions of the book for ads you thought were good and this will help you figure out what to include in yours. You do not have to have anything for sale or at stud to place an ad. The ads are permanent records that will compliment what is done on this board and in our lives with these hounds from day to day and year to year. If you do not have any older editions to compare ads then get in touch with some of us who do. You may have to visit your buddy if he will not let this valuable "Keep sake" leave his house. That will tell you just how much we value each edition, especially the ones we placed ads in. The lady Lynn Jendersee will help you. If you feel more comfortable talking to one of us then contact any officer in BBCHA and you will be helped. Private message me if need be. I would be glad to help anyone, anyway I could with this.

Up and running

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is one of the parts I enjoy most about Bluetick people. People are stepping forward to make it happen just like it is supposed to. Not because they have to but because they want to. Ed Mauney, President of BBCHA -at least 1 page. Chris Gray says put him down for 1 page. Scott Vandenheuvel and Rick Jordan combine for 1 page. Dale Parker and Rodney Holland 1 page, maybe 2. Page by page, person by person, dog by dog. In order to have the type of book we all want this is the way we will get it done. The beauty of it all is that everyone on this site can participate in some way. You can join the association, the information is listed in an earlier post. You can feature your dogs and hunting buddys in an ad. Old photos or new ones, that is up to you. This book is going to be a success and we want you to be a part of it. To those of you who already are members and to our officers-don't be shy. Put it in black n white on here so we can put it in color in the BLUE BOOK. Who;s next?
