hunt ?

Here is one that don't happen everyday. hunt listed in the book and on the internet show up before deadline with other hunters there. deadline comes and goes. no hunt director or master of hounds show up no one to take entries. with other kc you can get a number and call and get some answers. you can't get anyone from ukc no numbers but the office and of course there closed during hunt times. so what do you do? People have drove hour or more to get to hunt at $4 gallon gas and for no one at the club to show up or answer there phone's. it's kinda a crock.

For one they could not have arbitarily cancelled the hunt.It would have had to been advertised in the Bloodlines.
UKC has always maintained that even if there is a flood,blizzard.etc,Someone must be there to take entries and put on the event if even one person shows and and wants to go.

Not really much you can do has far as holding the hunt.Only recommendation is to report it to UKC .I would image the club will be dealt with by UKC accordingly depending if this has happened before.
