The first pair of Danner Pronghorns I wore were awesome. Never thought I'd own anything else. Had them for years. Light, waterproof, great. When I finally wore them out ordered some more and they were terrible. Sent them back. I went back to Irish Setter. Have two pair of those right now that I really like. I'm on the fence with Danner right now.

They are nice dress up boots, I am a land surveyor and if a pair of boots last me a year they are great books. Dinner Pronghorns broke down in a 6 month period. Went back to Redwings boots

That's because they used to be made in America, and now they are made in China.

I have a pair that is probably 8 years old, maybe older. They are the best pair of boots I have ever owned. Period.

Love mine had them for three years. Wear them everynight hunting and never had a blow out lol

comfortable boots, water proof for 20 days and then you'll have wet feet walking in wet grass. Liked the first pair I bought 5 yrs ago since then I've had 2 more pairs and they were junk. Karl

Beautiful boots. Very comfy. Not long very long lasting repelling water.
Trey what kind of redwings do you buy. When I was doing road construction I bought a pair. They were very uncomfortable and didnt last 6 months. For 250 bucks I exspected more.Ill prolly try some irish setters next.

BOOTS
I just bought a new pair of irish setters, when i was looking at new boots i noticed that red wing, carolina and quite a few more were made partley in china depending on the type an style that you bought???
Im pretty sure Irish Setters are made by Redwing?Ive heard there comfortable.
irish setter
but the ones i bought were made in the usa and yes nice boots. also i was not saying the all the boots made by these other companies where made in china....you just have to pay attention when buying.
10-4.I wasnt questioning ur statement.I agree boots made in the USA are much better quality. How much did them boots cost you?
