Vendors?

What happened to the Vendors Board? I was hoping to make up a list of light companies that would be at Bluetick Days, but no board.....

would anyone be interested in a list of vendors by State?

I was toying with the idea of compiling a list of vendors that would include their company name, contact person, contact info, type of vendor (hunt supply, show supply, signs, pictures, etc), location and any other pertinent info and having this info available to ALL clubs, state associations and whomever that would be putting on events. After seeing a LOT of threads with questions concerning who was or wasnt coming and who was or wasnt contacted, I thought this would be a good way for the club/assn to look at a list to see who was close to them and be able to quickly put out a call to those places and secure vendors without having the same vendors every time and without the vendors having to drive across the country, thereby making it more feasible and profitable for everyone, and include both big and small vendors.

so, what is your feedback? keep in mind to do this, I will definitely need input from everyone to put the list together as it will always be a work in progress and always updated and changing.

comments? thoughts?

We moved vendors out of the coonhound classifieds because dog supplies are not exclusive to coonhunting and we thought the beagle, retriever, pointing dog and all breed people might have been missing it since it was burried under coonhounds. Should benefit all vendors as well.

Vendors

I fell the vendor board should be reserved for legitimate vendors only. All the popcorn, candy and hot dog sales should be under the classified board.
UKC should require a copy of the vendors business lic. before they are allowed to post on the vendor board.
