-- bad nite, bad luck!!! (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928317090)
bad nite, bad luck!!!
went out with toby and trix hoping for couple slam dunk runs in the wind and call it a nite. first run they ran awesome fast track and bayed up on ground hole. got in and toby was wobbly and out of it??? had drove within couple hundred yards and had to carry toby out. he has done this a couple times over the years. wasnt sure what to think and being couple miles from home took him to truck dogbox and mixed up some gatorade he drank down and looked better.
my escape artist pup shadow was out of the kennel so took minn out of other side of dogbox collared up and put shadow where she couldnt escape!!! didnt wanna hunt any pups tonite was hunting ground that gets pounded and near hiway.
dumped again with minn and trix going opposite ways. trix struck and was moving towards road and minn was on a different road. beeped trix several times as i drove to pick minn up. got minn loaded and trix struck another track in couple acre woodlot as she was headed towards me. she crossed road screaming and went bout 800yds and treed in huge cedar with single. perfect tree to climb and she was trying still treeing every breath when i got there.
tried another freecast without a bark and roaded bout a mile without anything and headed home **** cold! somethings wrong with weather when a guy gets cold on side by side in may!!! ended the nite with 2 coons and a dog down for the nite, hunt kinda sucked!!! LOL. was hoping for a relief from pup hunting and it sure didnt happen!!! LOL.
trixers single. coon looked but hard to spot.
