LED or OLD STYLE INCONDESINT?
a lot of people are going to LED lights because of the brightness and burn time me myself I feel I can see better with an old style light what about yall? vote and give your opinion!
btt
I can see twice as good with a LED. Your eyes adjust to it. Some folks say they can't.

LEDs are totally worthless in my opinion. They are good for burn time that's about it.

The biggest problem ive found with them is that a coon wont look at them even on low.

Lol I actually own a LED light myself and its bright theres just something I like about the old style lights
At one time bruce Conkey or somebody was selling a led light that was yellerish orange color like a 5100 head light. Same color but with the burn time of the LED lights.

jmo
i got the compact crastyal led light i love mine stick in my pocket dont weigh nothing and bright i dont have to use the high setting but once in awhile i started out with carbide lights and a 2 cell flashlight to shine the tree it sure lots brighter than my ole heavy hot lite even on the low setting the led lites are way better jmo
If you mean nite light's hot light I can see where youre coming from ive seen that light in action. You could get more light from a match.
quote:yea its by nite light it had the flicker switch which i never used i used it for yrs found alot of coon with it but the leds are just better lights imo

Im suprised it stayed on after what happened to a buddy of mine with nite light I wouldn't touch one. He bought their 28volt belt light and before he could get it in the woods it fell apart and the head quit. He called them he sent it back and they sent it back still broke !
quote:only trouble i had with mine was the reostat switch went out i went to a electronic place and they put a new switch in it cost i think right at 10 dollars heck its old probly had it for 15 yrs lol give it and the old mine lights and some of the old wheat lite heads to a buddy month or so hes always tradein and sellin that kind of stuff lol

Lights.......
No comparison------LED lights are much better, after your eyes get used to the bright white light you will be fine. Never have to worry about blowing bulbs, burn times are unreal, the battery packs are so small and light weight......why would you not want to use one ?............Tim
