Dc 30 problem???

I have a dc30 that when linked up to the garmin it shows a quarter battery but when you put it on the charger it has a solid blue light. And the blue light never flashes on charger so i took it off and linked it back to my handheld and it shows a quarter battery after a 2 hour charge. Why does it have a solid blue light when just put on the charger and why dosent it take charge. Thanks any help wld Be appreciated

when you hook the charger to a dc 30 the blue light will say on untill the battery is charged, when it is fully charged the blue light will turn off.
if the blue light never goes out then the collar is ready for a new battery.
one sign of any battery going bad is they wont take a full charge.
