These men had littermates with them for this picture.

A good picture of a good man with one of his favorite hounds!

STUD!

This old photo does not look to good but you can't say that about this hound. One of the best looking Blueticks any of us ever saw.

That brings back memories! The third dog was Wilbur Uchtman and Stoney. It was in Tell City, IN and it was hot that day.

Rankin's Blue Lead?

So far we have had Rod Rose, Charlie Shafer, Wilbern Ucthman, then Jess Rogers with Arkie Dooley and last but not least Rankin's Blue Lead. This one may be a little more difficult to recognize but one fine looking specimen who was at stud and shows up in a good many pedigrees. Anybody care to make a guess? Or maybe you know for sure!

Banjo and Logan

Just a pair Rick Jordan and I are very proud to be able to be a part of promoting.

Thanks Scott-was glad to see you last year at the Fall Round Up. Just for the record I thought the world of Rebel. Rebel to Stower's Sadie Mae- what a cross! You keep Rick going, don't let him grow old on us. Appreciate all of you chiming in on here. Now back to the last photo I posted. He is still in a lot of 3 genaration pedigrees.............?

Posted by pamjohnson on 04-08-2013 12:46 AM:

wild guess rambo II

Posted by cwbluebio on 04-08-2013 12:56 AM:

Good try Pam. Not him. Here is a few clues -He was Uchtman bred and I did get to hunt with him. I may have taken this photo in Missouri, but it could have been taken in Georgia.

Way to go Scott-that was Delta Dash. Ed picked out a pup down at Steve Fussel's and she was bred to Jet V and that mating produced Jet 6. Since Rambo II got mentioned-take a stab at this photo.......the dogs not the people, well them too if you wish.

Pretty sure the dogs are:

Good job there Ritchie. That picture was taken at the Winter Classic, had to have been one of the earliest hunts held there. Next- We all know who the man up front is and no doubt the dogs share most of their names--give us the numbers?

Too easy! I would have said 7, 8, 9 and 10. Same thing only different. Another photo from Van Wert, Ohio from those great hunts that Tom Bradley and Emmet Brohard helped us put on for both associations.

I know Dave has 10 and then back from there.

Scott-you got it right, unless Dave tells us different. I just wanted to make sure other people would know what the order was. The 10 dog looked a little different (to me) than the others. 7, 8, and 9 -all looked as if they were the same dog only older versions of each other. I enjoy being able to walk up to dogs and see the similarities or be able to tell what strain they remind me of. Billy- glad you are enjoying these "old pictures." We are all in this together, one way or another. This is all about the Kennels and dogs with their owners that got us to today.
