insurance for hound???
Ive been reading a lot of tragic posts about dogs being shot while at the tree lately. I was just wondering if anyone has ever 'insured' their hound? Im sure several reputable companies would, in some manner, allow a pet to be insured. Im not sure of this, just a guess. Id like to hear what everyone thinks.>>>Jim Harper

Insurance
I'm not sure about now, but I did have a friend that insured his Grand Night one time. His dog died and it was not covered for what she died from.
I'm sure there is something out there but would advise you to read the fine print on what was covered.

Had a friend that had one insured that I handled for him some. Dog got poisioned with anti freeze at a hunt some years back. Insurance company said that since it could not be proven that someone actually give it to him, they would not cover the dog dieing. What's the use in having it if its no good.
I find it hard to believe any insurance company would not pay a claim and try to screw one of their customers. Lol j/k it seems like insurance companies try every way they can rather than pay up.
