history nutt..Union valley skip?

Hey nutt man....can you dredge up an old add of union valley skip?I think he was a dual grand ch out of buffalo river bandit. I think I remember ads in the amercian cooner around 90 to 93
can you see what you can come up with. had a pair of pups from him and one of my hounds. awesome cross. thx

remember him or have any pups from him. the ones I had were awesome and kept that line for about 10 years.

If you are looking for bandit blood, a friend of mine used to own a grntch by the name of blaster out of bandit and he has semen out of him and he also has pups out of it and a finley river female

I saw the pups. they are good looking suckers. Just a little high for my budget.

not off the top of my head.

I believe he lived in Texas. but dont hold me to that.
My old brain aint what it used to be.
again it was near 89, 90 to 92 that he was advertised.

wow and wow.

I had a pair of pups from Skip and My ch. stevensons stormy II
and kept this line for about fifteen years and they produced some of the best hounds in this country.
anybody else ever have anything out of skip?

I kept that female until she died from 5wks old to 13 yrs. I loved that dog but I never bred her...Her littermate Wessel's Wild Ozzie won Treeing Walker Breeders hunt dog of the year in 95 I believe.. My buddy had Skips mother Queen when she died.. She got cancer shortley after the cross on Casey.. She was something... She ran every coon like she was looking at it... a track driving machine with the Lipper mouth to go with it... I still kick myself for not breeding my female...

yea...mine had tremendous mouths

too. everyone of those dogs could have made grand champion on the bench as well.
Mine won his first bench show at 3 months and 1 week old against a whole field of dogs. I have a pic of him somewhere I will try to put together. I have some pics of the littermate sister I had as well.
wish I could find some of that skip blood. that was a well bred dog for sure.

Hi,

Roy Beason of DeQueen, ARK owned McKnight's Queen at one time back in the "80's. I think he also owned Piney Hill Sam during that same time frame and sold him to Lee Weatherford from Louisiana.

Piney Hill Sam and Union Valley Skip were littermates if my memory is correct.

Lipper and Finley River

Hi,

Lipper crossed on Finley River. See it time after time. It worked. We went to the Little World Hunt years ago when it was in Pine Bluff. Piney Hill Sam was there and John Rich hunted Dual Gr. Ch. Finley River Rambo. Rambo finished 18th. He was a son of Lipper and Gr. Ch. Mears' Finley River Trap.

I don't know what Skip ever produced but Sam wasn't much in that department. He was a great track dog and good tree dog but I never saw a pup he threw that knew what a tree was made for.

I'm pretty sure they were littermates.
