So brush, if 4 more Senators don't join this group, America will not ratify this treaty. Joining with Iran, North Korea and Syria in opposition to this treaty.

If we'd vote out another 40 or so of them, it wouldn't be an issue any more. I'm not saying vote in 40 republicans, just 40 or so smart enough to know the UN has outlived it's usefulness.

Then maybe we could form a coalition with Iran, North Korea, and Syria and shut this whole thing down!
I don't follow gun issues as close as many on this board. Did I get that right though? So far only Iran, North Korea, and Syria are opposed, and assuming this does not pass our Senate that we will join their ranks?

The way I see it, the United States is the only true republic in regard to the opposing countries, and if the people and the republic says "no," then to hell with any other country that tries to force it upon us. The UN really is about as worthless as tits on a boar without the United States. It is a fine arena to voice positions on important matters to delegates of other nations, but it was never intended to be a ruling body for the rest of the world to obey.

IF YOU READ THE SENATORS WHO VOTED FOR THE BAN YOU'LL NOTICE ROCKEFELLER FROM W.V. VOTED IN FAVOR. NOW HE'S ALREADY SAID HE WONT RUN FOR RE-ELECTION AND CAPITO FROM THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES HAS ANNOUNCED SHE IS RUNNING FOR HIS VACATED SEAT. WEEL WE WONT HAVE TO TRY TO UNSEAT HIM. YOU FELLOWS FROM STATES NEED TO GET AFTER YOUR SENATORS FOR VOTING THE WAY THEY DID!! I E-MAILED MANCHIN DAILY ABOUT THIS VERY ISSUE AND IT WORKED!! TRY IT GET INVOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need a coalition? How about doing something because it's the right thing to do. Maybe we could start to be a leading country-not a follower. The U.N. is as much a joke as the Nobel Peace Prize is.
