Hunting Boots

Who is making the best hunting boots now? Been out of hunting for a few yrs, And needing a good pair.

I still use Muck wetlands, although the quality is not as good as it used to be. They tend to wear out near the achilles tendon on the inside. It helps to order a size large and wear two pairs of socks. I also stuff lambs wool in the toes for going downhill on the mountains around here.

Muckmaster

I wear the muckmaster with badlands light weight chaps.
The good: I like them, this is my second pair of muckmasters in about 8 years. The outer part and tread are as tough as nails. They are lite weight, get good traction and are comfortable.
The bad: They are hot in warm weather. They are cold when the temps get down around 20 degrees and below. The inner linner wears out in the area behind your heel. Then you get a blister on the back of your heel.
If you always wear 2 pair of socks they work well and are comfortable. I wear 1 thin pair and 1 thick pair in cold weather. 2 normal pair in summer.
Best of all they keep the water out when crossing creeks and they don't wear you out when you walk long distances.
