E-collar range

I see alot on here about how to in-cease the range for the garmin gps

dose any one have anything out there? or is there a way to in-cease the range on the sportdog-425 e-collar to equal or be comparable to the 3225 ?

I'm not looking for the range so much but more signal strength to bust through the thickets!
