She what she does by her self. Sounds like it.

Does she just shut up but continue running the track or does she shut up because she quits the track and goes to look for another one she can have to herself?

She quits opening up when the other dog opens up next to we but she still follows the track

Not trying to be rude but if she's at the tree when the other dogs tree, how would you think she is independent? If she was independent don't you think she would be split treed or somewhere by herself? From the information you've given, sounds like she's a young dog and more of a jealous type hound then an independent one. Once again I'm not trying to be rude or offend you, just going on the information you gave us. More information would be helpful, things like: How old is she? How much has she been hunted? Will she hunt by herself? Does she do this alot or everytime? Info like that.

Nah bud it's alright you didn't be rude. I hunt her about 3-4 times a week. She's a little more than a year old. But the only thing I don't get is why she shuts up when ever the other dog open ups next to her

sounds like she's just not been socialized with other dogs and she's not use to hunting with strange dogs. it can make a big difference with some dogs until they adjust. she should be fine with a little hunt time.

she sounds like she is kinda smart to me
