I hope your right!
That guy is crazy though.
the big problem for us is that our so called fearless leader isn't trying to prove anything. he will probably competulate like france did. or worse, he might join forces with kim jung un in an effort to destroy the usa since that's his goal anyway..

I really wouldn't worry 'bout them---
it's the same ol' song & dance Kim Jung Un's father and grandfather portrayed.North Korea is like a pesky flea on a dog. They know that if they even attempted to fire weapons at South Korea or the U.S.,their days would be numbered. And it would be single digits.Onliest reason they do this crap is to make themselves look good to the rest of the country.Their bark is worse than their bite.Hell---even China is gettin' tired of their belligerence.

The worst part is that they will kill thousands of Americans before our leaders do a **** thing. Matter a fact they will tell them were to drop the first one.

This crap happens every couple of years. North Korea's economy is complete crap, and many of its people are starving, so Kim Jong (apparently doesn't matter which) threatens a war to lift UN sanctions to improve their economy. If this should escalate, it won't be like last time, and it won't be the US trying to reinvent the wheel. Kim Jong Un is quickly losing Chinese support and most teenagers walk around with more technology in their pockets than that entire country has. If this attack should happen, I imagine there will be a united Korea, only not under the rule of the North.
trackdriver, do not give Obama credit for the killing of Usama Bin Laden. All he did was make the same call that a homeless crackhead is capable of making. Our armed forces, specifically Seal Team 6, and our intelligence agencies deserve the credit for that.

MY DAD WAS IN THE KOREAN WAR AND HE ALWAYS SAID THAT WE SHOULD HAVE WENT AHEAD AND TOOK NORTH KOREA THEN BECAUSE SOME TIME WE WOULD BE FIGHTING THEM ANYWAY.

My Dad also fought in Korea. He never talked much about it because,he said,it brought back too many bad memories.I asked him once "Dad,how many Chinese did you kill in Korea?" He told me "Son,all I know is that I shot my rifle quite a few times and saw quite a few fall afterwards." I said,"Well Dad,that's good." He replied to me,"Rob,I guess it was,but however many I did kill, you must remember,he had a family just like I did."He also said,"Could we never speak of that God-awful place again?"I agreed.Only other thing about Korea that I ever heard him say is that it was "the coldest **** place he had ever been to". Right up 'til the day he died,if he was asleep,if you were to wake him up,you better shake his foot otherwise you'd get a fist in your face because of the war.Rest in peace Dad.

Are you slightly touched or something? The only other president besides Obama that ever knew the exact whereabouts of Usama bin Laden was Clinton, and he did nothing. What does Bush have to do with any of if? If he ever had the intel, I'm sure he would have made the same call. He made the hard call when it came to Saddam Hussein, although his sons were killed instead, and Zarqawi (since you probably don't know, the Al Qaeda leader in Iraq).
Did you also mean Commander in Chief? He makes very limited/broad decisions when it comes to the military. As far as tactics, logistics, training, etc., he wouldn't know where to begin. If a question regarding the military is asked to him, it is a "yes/no" question. Much like the one brought up.
This has nothing to do with North Korea, so if you can't contribute to the conversation at hand, then please do some learning little fella.
My hat is off to any Korean War vet. The war was won by the hearts of the soldiers, and then almost lost by the stupidity of a man that had his sights on politics and not the big picture (Douglas Macarthur). We will never know what could have happened, but North Korea was all but defeated until our troops started crossing the Chinese boarder. A very close friend of mine told me that guys in his unit were wondering how far they were from China, and a couple of days later every soldier they saw was Chinese. I don't think they will come to the rescue again.

Dad died peacefully in his sleep on April 4th,2011. I carry a copy of his obituary that is laminated in my truck. There's hardly a day that goes by that I don't read it and say a prayer for him.Usually with tears welling up in my eyes.My Dad was a strict parent, but I never faulted him for it.Truthfully,it probably did me more good than bad.I miss him greatly. It's true---you never realize how much you love 'em 'til they are gone.

Our military
must be taking this North Korea thing pretty serious.I live right by an Outer Landing Field that is utilized by the Navy here in Chesapeake,Va.The FA-18 Hornets out of Oceana Naval Air Station and the E-2C Hawkeyes outta Norfolk Naval Air Station have been flying non-stop for the past 5 days.I mean day and night.Last night, the Hornets didn't stop flying 'til 2:30a.m.Then they started back up before I left for work this morning.

P.S.---Hope I get some sleep tonight.

This is their way of getting the sanctions lifted and US will pump Billions into NK. Unfortunately, this president will bow to this ideat!
