Remember When !!!!!!!

Setting hear after wed. nite service and just had an awesome flash back to when life was simple . Can anyone remember back to before the age of tech. when we still to one another one on one . When we sleep at nite with our windows open, gas was a dollar , people werent greedy , coonhunters were just good ole boys having a little fun making gas money selling hides abd meat . Boy we sure have come along ways but gotten nowhere . Now half hates the other half , those of us who love Jesus are nuts and the terrorists in the middle are only trying to better themselves according to some while us Jesus freaks are whats wrong with world today . I sure do wish we could back to hand shakes, integrity , along with many(many lost morals) that made things better off . Love modern tech just not what its turned us into . EVER WONDER WHOSE TOOL THIS REALLY IS .

WOW I MISS MAYBERRY RFD

Smile REMEMBER WHEN......

GENTLEMEN USED TO HOLD THE DOOR FOR WOMEN AND BE GRACIOUSLY THANKED BY THE LADY AS WE RETURNED A WARM "YOUR WELCOME MAM."??
REMEMBER WHEN THE WORDS PLEASE AND THANK YOU WERE USED REGULARLY?
REMEMBER WHEN A HAND SHAKE WAS AS GOOD AS A WRITTEN CONTRACT?
REMEMBER WHEN YOU OFFERED TO HELP YOUR NEIGHBOR IN THEIR TIME OF NEED WITHOUT THEM HAVING TO ASK?
REMEMBER WHEN SUNDAY MORNINGS WAS ABOUT PUTTING ON YOUR BEST AND ASSEMBLING AT GOD'S HOUSE TO OFFER WORSHIP AND PRAISE?
REMEMBER WHEN A MAN HAD ENOUGH OF A BACKBONE TO APOLOGIZE TO ANOTHER MAN WHEN HE WAS WRONG ABOUT SOMETHING?
REMEMBER WHEN EACH MEAL WAS BLESSED WITH GRACE AS A DISPLAY OF THANKFULLNESS?
REMEMBER WHEN PEOPLE CONSIDERED IT THEIR DUTY TO GET UP EACH DAY AND PUT IN A FULL DAYS WORK BECAUSE IT WAS CONSIDERED AN HONORABLE TASK AND THEIR DUTY?
REMEMBER WHEN "IN GOD WE TRUST" MEANT SOMETHING TO ALL AMERICANS?
REMEMBER WHEN WE GOT OUR BACK SIDES WHIPPED FOR STEPPING OUT OF LINE FOR NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE????????

OH HOW I MISS THE GOOD OLE DAYS AND I THANK MY PARENTS AND GRAND PARENTS FOR MAKING SURE THAT I WAS GIVEN SUCH AN UPBRINGING THAT I HAVE GLADLY PASSED ON TO MY CHILDREN TODAY. AS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY, WE SHALL CONTINUE TO SERVE THE LORD FOR WE HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO ACCEPT THE EVIL OF THIS WORLD.

Remember when a man would show he could take care of a woman before they considered marriage.

They need to allow the principal to paddle a kids A$$ when they get out of line. I know I got my share and then some. Then when you get home the ole man kicked your but, then there was work to do and groundings. I sure never gave it one thought to do what some kids do today.

Marriage they should make it harder to behind with then couples would make it work. To Darn easy to get out of when one thing goes wrong. Or if ya think grass is greener else where.

Remember when a marriage was between a man and woman only? Sorry I couldn't help it .

I do believe a lot of these things mentioned here are still alive and well in some places of the country. Maybe not those paddings. I've had a bunch of them. My deddy always said. Boy you get one at school. You get one at home. LoL Had me skeered to death for yrs when I was young. Then trouble somehow just started finding me

I shouldn't have said trouble really. It was really just mischief. Course I could carry a knife and a gun to school and never thought about using either one on somebody.

When I was in eighth grade. I went to my buddies house alot to rabbit hunt. I could breakdown this old shotgun put it in my camoflauge bag and when I got to school drop it off in the principals office then pick it back up when I was going to the bus that evening.
