If the losers aren't man enough to take their minus do you think they are man enough to admit it?!?! Lol.

Had 2 real winners last note...they declared their dogs split treed...then a young boy declared his split after my dogs tree closed..they were running 2 tree times..mine and the other 2...judge said "when 4 mins is gone on your tree 2 mins is gone on ours".

All 4 dogs on 1 tree...they minused the young boy..but when checking the card I saw they circled their dogs!!!

I called em out on it and they denied it completely....I got heated..they wouldn't change it but knew dang well what they did...they said their dogs were 45degress to the right of mine up the other hollow...they ran 2 tree times...

Scumbags. They are quick to minus a 14 or so year old boy but not their selves for the same action???

After last nite I think I might be done with competition hunting...at least for a while...maybe till I move...maybe this area is just particularly full of scum bags...I just can't take it...

My buddy told me before I started competition hunting that I was too honest for it.....

Well he is right...I must a been raised different than most...

If you would have known the rules you wouldnt have to feel cheated. First off no one except the judge can declare a dog split, and he doesnt do that until he is sure. secondly why would anyone run 2 tree times when all dogs have been declared treed?

The judge and the other guy declared their dogs split from mine! They declared it....the judge started a clock on their tree..mine was already declared_treed...we started walking to my dog...its tree closed and the young boy declared his treed so it was taken as a split tree as well....

End of story...I didn't declare their dogs split..they did...they knew dang well they did...if they were smart they wouldn't have declared their dogs split but they did....they should have sucked it up and taken their minus...

When I am judging, I will minus myself as fast as I will minus you. If you are hunting a coondog, you shouldn't have a problem with minus points. If you are consistantly taking minus, you better get a better dog or sharpen your calling skills.

I am not out there to fight and argue...I am one of the most laid back easy going guys around...it takes a lot to get me fired up...lying and cheating is one thing that pushes my hot button...

Handler error of calling your dog split when its not or the dogs really did move I don't know..but suck it up and take the minus...or at least take the minus like a man when you get called out on it and the facts are laid out in front of you...

I have some decisions to make....but as of right now I feel like I need to step away....the hard part is knowing dang well my dog deserves to be at the hunts and would win his fair share easily...

I know the rules well enough..but when it comes down to votes and guys buddying up trying to eliminate their competition it ends up with me getting frustrated..wasting time and money to be cheated....

Many guys say you can't be cheated if you know the rules...but get 2 or 3 buddies to vote against you all nite...your being cheated...nite hunt honor rules....that's like a joke sometimes because there is nothing honorable about some of these guys....

To top it off, after signing the card they jumped in the truck and peeled outta there...luckily I had a GPS....but when I guide I make sure everyone can get home...good hunt or bad I won't leave another guy stranded and lost on a strange dirt road hours from home....

I've had some awesome casts...laughed and joked all nite...at the end of the hunt we a actually have to Talley up the score card because we had no idea what scores were...

So looking back on it I can't decide if the handler that called for the vote was " slick handling " or what. That tree cost me the hunt. He didn't break any rule by doing so but that vote put me in the hole more than the others since I has first strike & tree. Smart handling or slick handler? IDK

So you and judge voted to circle it and somehow or another it still got minused??

Don't mean to bust your bubble, but 2 + 2 doesn't equal 3. How can you be on a three dog cast and have a four person vote? Sorry, but you lost me on this one....

Joseph could have had a non hunting judge....not sure how scoring is done with a non hu ting judge...don't think I've ever had one...takes a majority to plus or minus a tree with a hunting judge....

Coin toss for a tie breaker????? All the other tie breakers didn't give a winner??

Last night Trouble was tracking in a big swamp,three dogs turned to him after a den,after they were struck back in they all were called treed on the other side of it ,on the way to the dogs treed they started moving to the left 150 yards but the other three handlers would not man up and take their minus,,cost TROUBLE the cast win after a ? vote at the club house,,we were blown away that three men would not be HONEST,,,,,,,,,OH well maybe next time.

I just returned to hunting competition after being away for thirteen years, but when I was hunting years ago and had a non-hunting judge his vote was THE ONLY vote that counted. Is it not that way now?

I hunt UKC for the FUN of it all, with my two boys.

I will be the first to say give me my minusin Doc lol. If the dog does well and has it coming give it him.

It makes a lot more enjoyable night hunting with folks doing it right!
