Mike Smith of Shepardsville , KY. built one for my Ranger a few years ago . More of conventional dog box with side sliding vents for northern MI. use . About a third is top storage for my rifle and collars etc. and then the rest of the top as a low railing around it to carry the coon we get without falling off . Works good since the box uses all the space in back . A little tight for 4 dogs but works ok , perfect for 2 .

A side note would be to tie the box down . Mind has been on its side 3 times since 2006 .
