Rat terrier coon dog

Does any one have any idea to start a rat terrier coon hunting I would like to try it she is still less than a year old and she is full of piss and vinegar

Just take her out at night. Show her a caged Coon or 2 also. I had one that was a great lil possum,Coon and squirrel dog. Even treed a few ground hogs. The thing is. They have to be natural born tree dogs. If its not. You can't train it. Mine just picked it up I recken from me messing with hound pups.

That's how I've seen it. I have a feist now. Want hardly mess with a squirrel or Coon but loves treeing Possums and going in the ground after ground hogs. Squirrels eat outta the same bowl as he does.lol.

Yep either they have or they don,t you sure can't teach it.
