The 'Hitch-Hiker" transmitter should put an end to worrying about the Garmin loosing signal or battery going dead.

The "Hitch-Hiker" is no more than a traditonal tracking collar (Beep-Beep) designed to attached on with the DC40 .

Joe
In time I will look into maybe retrofitting these to other collars than what they were originally designed for the DC40, at the present they have not been tested or fitted on the Garmin Alpha collar.
Thanks

Lots of interest shown on the "Hitch-Hiker" especially by the handlers that travel all over the country to these competition hunts where they are also running a traditional "beep-beep" collar on with the Garmin. If running the DC40 collar this will be only one collar on the hound.

Thanks for all the interest shown over the last few days, there are several vendors that will be selling the "Hitch-Hiker".

Those of you running just a changeable battery tracking collar and looking for a changeable battery collar the "Hitch-Hiker" will double as just a regular changeable battery tracking collar.

The versatile transmitter, "Hitch-Hiker" !!!!!

If running a regular tracking collar as a back up to your DC40 eliminate a collar by adding the Hitch-Hiker to your DC40 collar.
