I don't think my dog has Any Finley river in him
The triple chop is a running voice, the old fox hunters called it a bugle mouth , when the track gets hot you might hear a single short chop thrown in at the end of the first 3 chops. If you watch the old movie "The Voice of Bugle Ann", that would what it sounds like. The first time I heard it coming from my female, dang near made me fall in the river. I had worried she might have a squawl mouth, but sure wasn't expecting a YoYoYo ...Yo! When the last Yo sounds she is covering ground fast , looking to catch ! I really don't have a clue where it came from, never heard of Finley River throwing it, might be a throw back to the old foxhounds in the foundation stock generations back.

I couldn't find that video does anyone have a link to it
I wish that I had the old tapes my hunting buddy made , the one I have found has Maggie treed , not when race was going. I looked and found a link, it's Tom's site on Lipper said he had copy of the old audiotape on there - http://blog.houseslipper.org , should be able to take you there.
Just listen for a sound that is dang near painful to you, that would be it ! Lipper has a longer bawl sound starting off, but ends up with the scream that cuts to the bone. It's a strange sound, with a bawl mouth, the bawl gets shorter as track gets hotter, might even start chopping. On the Squall mouth it's reversed, the screaming part gets longer as track gets hotter.

A trple chop mouth track dog is 3 times worse than a single chop track mouth dog.
Glen, that's gotta be the best description I"ve ever heard for a squall-mouthed dog. Hitting your thumb with a big hammer on a cold morning. Lol, Been there and done that. You "nailed" that description, lol

Had a walker dog back in the late 70's, she was out of or gran daughter to Normans Coon Stopper. She had that yodel locate. It was awesome , you could tree her on it every time. 3 yodels in a row, quick. YoYoYo, Sure miss that voice. Tree Annie

I can listen to that lipper video and picture my Uncles hound reared up on the tree. Had the same markings ,durn near identical .

Yes he is a walker out of Pepsi creek and please explain why a triple chop Is worse than a single chop and yes that lipper dog. Video mad the hair on the back of my neck stand up and how is a squal mouth dog bad
Like I said I'm new to owning coon dogs
None (different barks) of them are bad. Just up to you to take the time to learn your dog. If you hunt them enough you will know what they are doimg the same time they do. It is a great feeling when it really clicks with your first dog and yourself. If you decide to put him in hunts he does the work you become a translator. If you just pleasure hunt them you will more or less know ahead of time whether or not to carry the gun. Good Luck i hope you and your hounds the best.

Thank you and my dogs all clicked with me I can hear tell you what each dog sounds like from around a quarter of a mile
And what do you mean different barks of them are bad
I said none of the different mouths are bad. Some folks just pick up different mouths easier.
