Alpha ruling????

Has anyone got an idea or heard anything more about when or if it will be allowed to carry alpha handheld along on cast. Very disapointing that in other hunts they can be carried. Really puts a guy in a bind when trying to decide to buy.

The next rule session is at AO this year. Any rule changes would not go into effect until Jan1, 2014.
