Guys,
A few coon hunters here in Arkansas including myself had a chance to meet with Arkansas State Senator Gary Stubblefield tonight about creating Right to Retrieve legislation here in in our state and also sponsoring legislation that would further punish those that would shoot and kill our hounds for crossing property lines without first giving us a chance to handle the situation fairly. I ask all of you who read this to please contact your state Senator and Representatives and ask them to contact Mr. Stubblefield and provide support for his future legislation. Explain to them that we are not looking to run wild on posted private property we just need the ability to gather our dogs safely when they get somewhere they shouldn't be and get them out of that area. Give him a call or send him an email letting him know that you support a Right to Retrieve and any other legislation he can sponsor that will help protect the houndsmen of Arkansas and our dogs.

there is alot of miconception about this law. I've talked to alot of hunters that think Ar has a right to retrieve law. Ar., does not recognise this at all. I wish it did. something certainly need to be done., Thanks for the post.
