He is worth a try boys.
I own nothing on Speed. I just know a coondog when I hunt with one and his pups are doing the same.
He is bred to reproduce and he isn't getting any younger. He has 3 wins to Grand and Jr isn't worried if and when he gets finished. All of his wins have been in big hunts.
The dog trees like this for hours. He can run a track just as fast.

I have a speed pup year old has been on 2 bear kills countless others that we didn't get ran his first one at six months only the third time I had him out trees just like his daddy one of the easy pups i have ever seen to start I just took him with my old dogs he was a natural.

Raised a litter off Speed and my Lace female and perduced some nice hounds. Give him a chance he will do his part. I know of five that are coon dogs and one bear dog. One dead the others lost track of.

People he is a nice hound. I don't care who owned him before Jr Watson or anything like that. I'm telling you he is a good one. If he was here in Mo down south he would have females lined up to breed him. But that's OK Jr Watson is doing his part with Speed and his pups are speaking for themselves.
